Oregon “Small Business Bill of Rights” passed and signed

The seventy fifth Oregon Legislative Assembly—2009 Regular Session—signed the Enrolled House Joint Resolution 43 (HJR 0043) “Small Business Bill of Rights” on June 19, 2009. Before being signed the Resolution passed both the Oregon Senate and House unanimously.

The signing of the Oregon Small Business Bill of Rights, June 19, 2009.The Resolution, which was sponsored and supported by the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), was signed by Speaker of the House Dave Hunt and others. Though not a Bill, the Resolution is a step in the right direction for small businesses and entrepreneurs in Oregon as it represents a recognition by the State Government of the importance of Small Business for the State and its inhabitants.
